Gartner’s market research included a web survey that collected data from over 300 institutional investors, complemented by a series of in-depth face-to-face and phone meetings with additional clients. These meetings with prospective sponsors and attendees yielded a number of critical points which are reflected in the format, agenda, and construct of the Event.

Key Research Findings Incorporated into the Event Include:

  • Investors value face-to-face meetings to gather information and make buy / sell decisions – but are looking for a new model of investment banking event
  • There is high demand for independent research
  • Investors want to meet with senior management
